Will of James Davies
stonemason of Broughton - 1847
This is the last Will and Testament of me James Davies Stonemason of the Township of Broughton Parish of Wrexham and County of Denbigh Being of sound mind memory and understanding I devise that all my Just debts and Testamentory Expenses be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named I give and devise all those two Tenements or Houses together with the two small gardens thereunto attached situate lying and being at Nant? in the aforesaid Township unto my Wife Sarah and that the aforesaid two tenements above stated shall be absolutely at her own disposal I also give unto my said wife Sarah Davies all my Real and personal Estate together with my Goods and Chattels and all and every thing whatsoever I posses at the time of my decease And I hereby Nominate and Appoint my Aforesaid wife Sarah Davies my sole Executrix to this my last will and testament hereby revoking any will or wills made by me before and constitute this my last will and testament for Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty Ninth day of December One Thousand Eight hundred and forty seven

1848 October 4th The within named Executrix Sarah Davies then appeared personally and took the usual oath of an Executrix and that the personal estate and effects of the Testator James Davies did not at the time of his decease amount in value to Twenty Pounds
