A Frosty Day in Leamington
December 2010 - not as much snow here as many parts of the country and by this time it had all gone, but we did have some very hard frosts and freezing fog. On the 7th December the sun came out and so did an army of people with all manner of cameras from phones to some very professional looking kit. I spent an hour in Jephson Gardens in the heart of Leamington Spa and these are some of the photographs I took.
A view of one of the fountains
Gulls on the frozen pool
A view across the partly frozen river
Frost on the footbridge
Part of the gardens from the footbridge
Birds on the river
I wonder how this got on the river?...
A frosty view

Willows always look beautiful
A view towards the boating lake (behind the trees)
Frost on a willow
I liked the shadows here

There were more photographers in the park than I've ever seen before
